Laces to Leaders is expanding in 2024!!! In addition to having Boys and Girls groups in Black River Falls, Laces to Leaders will be coming to Lincoln Elementary this year too! Details below!
We are excited for our 7th year of the Laces to Leaders program! The focus of this 7-week program is on building self-confidence and positive self-image in young girls and boys, while training for a 5K run. The goal of this fun curriculum is to teach girls and boys positive life concepts, inspire them to make healthy lifestyle choices, and empower them with the confidence to set and achieve powerful goals!

2024 Program Details - BLACK RIVER FALLS
Dates and Times: April 1 - May 18, 2024
Girls: Mondays and Wednesdays 3:15-4:30pm
Boys: Tuesday and Thursdays 3:15pm- 4:30pm
Participants: Open to girls and boys in Jackson County, currently in Grades 3rd-5th
Location: Lunda Community Center
Students are able to make arrangements with the school district bus garage to ride the school bus to the Boys & Girls Club drop-off.
A membership to the Lunda Community Center is not required. However, all participants must have a LCC Hold Harmless Agreement on file. This can be completed online: https://form.jotform.com/211035030320027

LET’S CELEBRATE! Pace and Pedal 5K Color Fun Run
The culmination of the Laces to Leaders program is the Pace and Pedal 5K Color Fun Run/Walk on May 18, 2024 at 8:30am at Wazee Lake Recreation Area in Black River Falls. All Laces to Leaders participants are encouraged to participate in the event and complete a 5K with their friends and family! Registration is free for youth ages 12 and under.
Family members are invited to cheer your child on, or if you’d like, to run along with them during the 5K. Finishing the 5K will be an exciting moment for your child!
