Spring in Wisconsin is not always what we want it to be—in two words, it can be long and cold. For a fresh perspective, take note of what’s new in your grocery store  produce aisle.  You should begin to see new items, such as peas, asparagus, rhubarb and scallions--Just what we need after a long winter of potatoes, carrots and other root vegetables.  As the weather warms up we tend to want to eat a bit lighter.
